What is the difference between hits and visitors?

Visitors are unique viewers watching your videos or live streams.

Hits are an unique number of times that viewers watch your videos or live streams.

For example, if one viewer goes to watch your video, leaves and then comes back that will count as 1 visitor and 2 hits.

Under certain circumstances, you can have a massively high number of hits relative to your viewers. These scenarios include:

- Your page features something that causes it to refresh on its own

- Someone is trying to view your content from a poor internet connection that might drop repeatedly and come back

- If you use geographic restrictions this may cause the player to load several times when someone is locked out, inflating the hits number
